About me

Rob Geurden

Hey there! I’m a self-employed software developer with a passion for creating elegant software solutions. My love affair 🙂 with computers began when I was just 5 years old and my parents bought a Commodore 64. Since then, I’ve been hooked on programming and constantly learning new things.

Over the past 17 years, I’ve gained a ton of experience in software architecture, full-stack development for web and mobile apps, design patterns, and agile methodologies. As a freelancer, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of businesses and develop a deep understanding of the industry.

In 2010, I co-founded T2-Software B.V., which builds software solutions for water companies. I’m also working on a side project to develop software for people with Autism, which has been a really fulfilling experience.

When I’m not coding, you’ll find me hanging out with my family, shredding the slopes on my skis, cycling, or staying up-to-date on the latest tech trends.

I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and insights with others and love collaborating with other developers to build cool stuff. I believe that working together is key, and I’m always eager to learn from others.

Additional information:

I have assisted teams in developing their software skills and adopting effective architectural patterns across a wide range of industries, such as automotive, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, energy, health-tech, and e-commerce.

I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of programming languages, including but not limited to: Pascal, Delphi, Java, JavaScript, Python, VB, VB.NET, C, C#, Node.js, TypeScript, React, React Native, Xamarin, and Swift.
